Meeting the Garden

I met this garden the way you meet a new friend — slowly, listening to the stories it wanted to tell. Bird photographers waiting for the next shot, tai chi groups in a quiet corner, loud kids at summer camp, walkers, visitors, other artists. Painting here through the summer was a way of getting to know a place Toronto already loves — the Toronto Botanical Garden.
